HEARING AIDS
Leaping Butterfly Ministry launched our Hearing Aid Project in February, 2015, to award hearing aids to Turner syndrome adult women challenged with hearing loss.
Chronic ear infections due to Turner often leads to a child impaired later in life, which can leave them feeling isolated from society.
Due to the generosity of many, Leaping Butterfly Ministry has been blessed to award 32 sets of hearing aids to individuals who have applied.
Here are more comments and testimonials from our scholarship recipients.
“I am 50% deaf in both ears. Hearing aids would really help me communicate better in social situations due to the fact I simply can’t hear the conversation. I always feel left out…they think I just don’t pay attention…”
“Any training for work is a challenge.”
“I’m 43 years old and my quality of life is slowing down because people have to repeat themselves…”
“Words cannot express my gratitude to you and everyone involved with my hearing aid scholarship. My family and I are very touched. My husband stated he was completely blown away.”
“After 54 years, I am telling others to turn the TV down. I LOVE THEM! God bless you!”
