What are butterfly thoughts? Before we can answer the question of what butterfly thinking entails, I want to explore caterpillar thinking.
Caterpillars have the DNA of a butterfly inside of them.
They don’t have to try to become something they aren’t; the butterfly just naturally emerges out of the inch worm.
However, a caterpillar and a butterfly have very different things on their mind.
Caterpillars have beady little eyes so they have limited vision. They can’t see the big picture because their focus is on what’s directly in front of them.
Caterpillar thinking sees any obstacle as a hurdle that is hard to overcome.
Caterpillars move slowly. Their mode of transportation is inhibited. It takes them a long time to get from one place to another.
Their sense of urgency is overshadowed by the crisis of just trying to get over the next hump.
Lastly, caterpillars eat constantly. Their hunger to store up for the future leaves her with a sense of just surviving.
Butterflies look at life from an overview. They have oversight from a higher vantage point.
Butterflies see things from a better perspective so they make decisions based on the bigger picture.
The main two goals of a butterfly are to mate and drink nectar from flowers.
Butterfly thinking is all about developing Divine connections and enjoying the sweetness of life through gratitude and a positive attitude.
It’s time to spread your wings, Beautiful Butterfly. Think like a butterfly and soar to new heights.
